Described as one of the "brightest young stars in old-time music," Nora plays deeply rooted Appalachian repertoire with a compelling voice and clawhammer banjo style - blending ancient ballads, bluesy string tunes, and haunting traditional melodies.
Since her early beginnings learning old-time music in Brooklyn, Nora has toured the US, Europe and Japan, released multiple acclaimed albums on Jalopy Records, performed twice on NPR's Tiny Desk Concerts, and brought Appalachian traditions to new audiences around the world.

Stephanie Coleman's fiddling - steeped in Midwestern tradition - complements Nora's banjo and vocals with the timeless energy of old-time music. Together their duo bridges generations of folk heritage with authenticity, emotional depth and radiant stage presence. (Róisín Dubh)

This May, audiences across Ireland and the UK can experience this extraordinary collaboration live - at historic theatres, independent venues and festival settings - as they celebrate old-time music's enduring spirit.
