Treasure Coast Theatre presents Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer Prize winning play "Our Town"

This Pulitzer Prize winning play by Thornton Wilder depicts the simple daily lives of the Webb and Gibbs families in the small town of Grovers Corners, New Hampshire from 1901 to 1913. Filled with humor, heart and some tragedy, "Our Town" was once called by Edward Albee as "the greatest American play ever written"

The play is narrated by the Stage Manager, who directly addresses the audience, brings in "guest" lecturers, fields questions from the audience, and fills in playing some of the roles. The play is performed on a mostly bare stage. With a few exceptions, the actors mime actions without the use of props or furniture.
