UCAC Annual Members Meeting

A brief business meeting will be followed by guest speaker Karen Stone, St. Mary's County Museum Division Manager. Her talk "The Other Side of the Tracks: The Underground Railroad and the Old Jail Museum" will focus on this important Underground Railroad site in Leonardtown and the stories of some of the prisoners held there for trying to do the right thing. Not all riders on the Underground Railroad were successful, nor did all of the conductors get by without being punished.
