"Waiting For Godot" A play by Samuel Beckett at The Stage in Cameron Park. May 10-June1st
Saturday, May 10, 2025 -- Sunday, June 1, 2025, 1300 - 1700
Directed by: Rona Bernadette Arrogancia
Assistant Directed by: Eileen Hoang
A tragicomedy in two acts.
In Waiting for Godot, two tramps, Vladimir and Estragon, wait by a lonely tree, to meet up with Godot, an enigmatic figure in a world where time, place, and memory are blurred.
Like no other dramatist before him, Samuel Beckett's works capture the pathos and ironies of modern life yet still maintain his faith in man's capacity for compassion and survival, no matter how absurd his environment may have become.
General Admission: $28
Seniors/ Students Standard: $25
STUDENT SUNDAYS: $20
Students can enjoy specially priced $20 tickets for any Sunday performance. Not only is this a great way to experience one of theatre's most iconic plays, but it also sets the stage for deeper learning. These performances will help prepare you for an optional class with the director, where you'll unpack the play's themes, characters, and absurd brilliance. Don't miss this chance to see the show, engage with the story, and be part of the conversation!
