Join us for the "Walk for a Veteran" Walkathon, a vibrant display of solidarity and support for our nation's heroes. This fundraising extravaganza is dedicated to The Long Walk Home’s mission, raising critical awareness and funds to prevent Veteran suicide. Bring the whole family and the kids to experience a day brimming with inspiration, camaraderie, and profound connections. Let's unite in taking meaningful steps to prevent Veteran suicide and honor those who have bravely served our nation.

1. Walk with Heroes: Step into a day of purpose as we stroll alongside amazing veterans.
2. Fundraising with Heart: This event is a vital fundraiser for our mission to Prevent Veteran Suicide. Every step you take helps this noble cause.
3. Fun, Food, Ice Cream and More: Dive into a lively marketplace with cool vendors, enjoy yummy food, and groove to live entertainment all day long.

Vision Statement - That all Veterans are empowered to live, ending suicide in the Veteran Community.
Mission Statement - To help Veterans and their loved ones through a proprietary unique set of challenges to discover a new mission, be intentional, heal relationships, and stop Veteran from taking their lives.
Belief System - We believe that every Veteran's life matters, and everyone is responsible to help them redefine their mission of how they protect and serve. To create a positive impact on the community, family and especially their children.
WHAT TLWH DOES - TLWH stops Veterans from killing themselves by turning warriors into leaders in their families and their community.
HOW WE DO IT - We do this through a program that causes a transformative shift in the trajectory of their life. TLWH does this by training Veterans to support Veterans and their families to turn anger into mindfulness, to create a new mission and heal damaged relationships for themselves and their loved ones.
