We're Revolting! 1776 the Musical - 250 years ago they signed it, this summer we sing it.
Friday, June 26, 2026, 1900 - 2200
This summer, Halifax Repertory Theatre is bringing the Tony Award-winning musical 1776 to the News Journal Center stage to celebrate America's Semiquincentennial - that's a quarter-millennium of independence, freedom, and fireworks!
A rag-tag band of congressmen. One impossible mission: birthing a nation. Led by the visionary John Adams and the razor-witted Ben Franklin, they employ Thomas Jefferson in one last political ploy to secure independence.
Catch us at the News Journal Center, 221 N. Beach Street, Daytona Beach - six performances only!
June 26, 27, 28 and July 3, 4, 5
Tickets: 386-290-9963
Bring your family, bring your friends, bring your sense of adventure - and help us declare independence all over again!
We're revolting - in the best possible way!
