Weymouth Festival of Remembrance

Our 9th Festival of Remembrance will commemorate all those who have lost their lives in conflicts; we aim to do that with entertainment and reflection.
After the Great War 4 Organisations had been formed to helps those returning, the Comrades of the Great War, the National Association of Discharged Sailors and Soldiers, the National Federation of Discharged and Demobilized Sailors and Soldiers, and the Officers' Association. These were the forerunners of the British Legion.

The British Legion became Royal in 1971 and 105 years since their formation we continue to respond to the changing needs of the Armed Forces community, providing small interventions to life-changing, and sometimes lifesaving, support.
We are hoping to make this a Festival to Remember.
