Learn about wildlife Photography with photography Cari Siebrits at Capilano Library and learn some tricks of the trade.

Join Vancouver-based wildlife photographer Cari Siebrits for this 1-hour workshop on how to become a wildlife photographer - starting in your own backyard! We'll cover the basics of camera settings, composition, understanding your subjects' behaviour, and ethical photography practices. Leave this session with new confidence, feeling inspired and ready to capture wild moments with the creatures we share our city with. All levels of experience are welcome (no fancy cameras necessary!). Ages 12+ recommended.

Cari Siebrits is a wildlife photographer, who has specifically focused on conservation storytelling and promoting coexistence through my images.

She has been featured in Canadian Geographic, the Globe, CBC and Vancouver Sun, amongst others.
