Wreaths Across America - Oak Hill Cemetery, Ballard
Saturday, December 13th • All Are Welcome
The Santa Ynez Valley community is invited to gather at Oak Hill Cemetery in Ballard on Saturday, December 13th at 10:00 a.m. to participate in Wreaths Across America, a National Day of Remembrance honoring the men and women who served our country.
Each year, on the 2nd Saturday of December, communities across America come together to "Remember, Honor, and Teach."
At Ballard's Oak Hill Cemetery, community volunteers and families will help place wreaths on the graves of over 900 local veterans, ensuring their service and sacrifice are never forgotten. A brief ceremony will open the event, followed by the respectful placement of wreaths throughout the cemetery.
This meaningful day is sponsored by the Refugio del Cielo Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), as part of their ongoing commitment to honoring veterans and preserving American history.
All ages are welcome, and no registration is required.
Your presence at event helps keep the stories of our Valley's veterans alive during the busy holiday season.
