Youth Environmental Summit
Saturday, February 28, 2026, 0900 - 1600
Honor the legacy of late scientist and conservationist Dr. Jane Goodall at the Youth Environmental Action Summit on Saturday, February 28. Hosted at Plant Hall at the University of Tampa, the event includes a free screening of Disney and Pixar's upcoming release, "Hoppers." You can also explore our local ecosystems and learn how to protect them through a keynote address by mother-daughter co-authors Julie C. Henry and Tasman Henry and participate in hands-on workshops and an environmental expo featuring 40 Tampa Bay-area organizations. Keynote and workshops are $10 per child (parents/chaperones free); environmental expo and film screening are free. https://rootsandshoots.org/hopeinaction
