Zoo Weekly Tours and Animal Feedings

The Alaska Zoo offers tour and feeding selections, some of which you pay for at the gate and some require reservations.

Pay at the gate on the same day you wish to have the experience (pay before the start time at admissions): Animal feedings (10am moose, 1pm black bear, 2:30pm moose, $30/person plus zoo entry, 30 minute feeding session, all days except Tuesdays and Wednesdays). Snow Cats tour (11am, 1 hour cat highlight tour, $25/person plus zoo entry, all days except Tuesdays and Wednesdays), Bears of Alaska tour (3:30pm, 1 hour bear highlight tour, $25/person plus zoo entry, all days except Tuesdays and Wednesdays).

Reserve online 24 hours in advance: Wildlife Walk tour (10am, 1.5 hour zoo tour, $50/person which includes tour and zoo entry, only held on Mondays and Wednesdays and Thursdays), VIP tour (8am before zoo opens, 2 hour tour, includes 1.5 hours touring zoo behind-the-scenes, includes 30-minute polar bear encounter, tour is with Education Director Rich Capitan, $1,000 for up to 4 people).
