Women's Spiral Dance

Daughters of the Goddess has been celebrating our Annual Women's Spiral Dance since 1998. We have gathered together hundreds of women over the years to celebrate this sacred holy day.
It's been a long while, 5 long years, since we've gathered in the larger community ceremony we used to have. We miss seeing your faces, holding your tears as we honor those who have passed. The beautiful sounds of our voices singing together, nothing is as sacred as a chorus of women singing. Storytelling and sacred dance are woven in. And the wonderful smiles, and the connecting of our eyes, as we pass each other in the Spiral Dance, calling out the things we would like to manifest. This year, we are re-gathering some of our sacred sisters to participate, and we are calling you forth too! Kahuna Leilani will be joined by Queen Mother Oloya, all the way from New York, High Priestesses Lori and Shawn from Oregon, Kris Freewoman from our Northern San Francisco Bay area, Maria and Linda Yraceburu from the San Diego area, and the beautiful Eden Leimomi from Los Angeles.
Women join together to celebrate our ancestors, our crones, and each other. Joining hands, we slowly circle in and out of the spiral, dancing to the rhythm of the drums, giving thanks, prayers, and love. Looking into the faces of our sisters as they pass by, going into the center, then coming back out, rebirthing, releasing, renewing. What a precious gift.
It's time now to rise up, to come together to re-unite. Our power is mighty and magical when we circle! Come and join us for this year's Women's Spiral Dance. We look forward to seeing you.
